Did you know that all women of the parish (over 18) are members of St. Anne's CCW? We meet the third Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. September – April. The May meeting is replaced by the Spring Banquet.

Volunteers Needed!
St. Anne’s CCW is looking for several women to assist in filling the following positions; secretary, circles leaders to make phone calls, and a few funeral luncheon team members. These positions vary in their level of time needed. For example, the secretary attends monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of the month, except in summer. Circle leaders make phone calls to get food for funerals, desserts for the spaghettidinner and possibly other functions. The funeral team leaders attend funeral luncheons and make sure everything runs smoothly. There are four funeral teams so you would only be needed for every fourth funeral. Please pray about this and give volunteering some serious thought. When you are ready call me, Kathy Moran, at 248-8065. Thank you.
Quilts for Women’s Center
There is a group of ladies from St. Anne’s CCW that put together quilts for Remedies in Rockford. Remedies is a shelter for women in crisis. They are looking for new or very gently used sheets of any size, shape, color etc. to use as backing for the quilts they are making. If you would like more information about this group, or would like to join the group you can contact Bonnie at 815-248-9398. No quilting experience is necessary.
St. Anne’s CCW needs your support in order to continue assisting those people that need help in our church and in our community. One of the ways you can do this is by paying the annual dues of only $10.00. Your dues are important for the successful operating of many of the parish’s functions that the women of St. Anne’s facilitate. As official hostesses of the parish, the women of St. Anne’s CCW plan and provide food and/or refreshments as well as needed items for social, educational, religious and charitable events. In addition, we have also been able to purchase equipment for St. Mary Church kitchen and other items used in both churches. More women are needed to participate by helping with funding, by working at various events and to serve as officers for the organization. Please help us to continue serving the people of our parish and especially those in need.
