Lent 2025

Ash Wednesday: March 5
Mass: 7:00 a.m. and 12 noon at St. Mary Church

Thursday: March 13, 20, 27 and April 3 only:
7:00 p.m. Communion Service followed by Stations of the Cross with Adoration
March 13 – April 3

First Fridays, March 7 and April 4
Communion Service at 7:30 p.m., followed by Eucharistic Adoration from 8:00 a.m. until noon

Parish Mission 
Monday and Tuesday, March 24 and 25 – 6:30 p.m.
A Parish Mission will be given by Father Phillip Kaim, our Parochial Administrator, who is also the Pastor of Holy Family Catholic Church, Rockford. 

The first night’s presentation topic will be, “Heaven: Our Final Destination”. The second evening’s presentation topic will be, “Getting to Heaven: Steps We Can Take”. Everyone is invited to attend and to bring a friend or two.

Reconciliation
St. Mary Church: 7:30 a.m. every Sunday.
St. Patrick Church: March 15 and 22, from 3:45 – 4:15 p.m.
Be Reconciled Day: Wednesday, April 9, 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

Durand Ecumenical Lenten Lunches
12 noon every Wednesday: March 12 – April 9

Holy Week Schedule

Holy Thursday, April 17
The Easter Triduum begins at 6:30 p.m. with the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper, St. Mary Church. Adoration immediately follows and concludes with an 8:30 p.m. prayer service, in St. Mary Church Hall.

Good Friday, Passion of the Lord, April 18
During this Good Friday service, which begins at 3:00 p.m. there will be a reading of the Passion, Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion reserved from the Holy Thursday Mass, St. Mary Church.

The beginning of the Divine Mercy Novena will be lead at 4:00 p.m., at St. Mary Church.

Holy Saturday – April 19
9:45 a.m. Blessing of Easter Foods St. Mary Church
10 a.m. Easter Vigil Practice for sacristans, liturgical music ministry, altar servers, and lectors

Easter Vigil Mass: 7:45 p.m., St. Mary Church
This Mass is the greatest and holiest Mass of the Church Year. Christ is Risen!

Easter Sunday – April 20
