Our November meeting will be all about living a life of wellness. Teresa McMahon will be our guest speaker.
Teresa is a Certified Wholeness Coach outside of her youth ministry position at St. Bridget's. She works with women who are perhaps busy, stressed, and/or burnt out to learn how to dream again and come up with practical skills, mindsets, and strategies to become peaceful, confident, and courageous and live lives of wholeness in joy and freedom. When we are whole, we are able to live more fully alive, and thus give glory to God, as St. Irenaeus says: "The glory of God is man fully alive".
Our activity for the evening will be making homemade stove top potpourri. You will need to bring a jar or sealable bag to place your potpourri in. Please bring along something that can be shared with the group to be added to the potpourri. Some examples are: cinnamon sticks, dried orange, apple, or lemon slices, cloves, star anise, vanilla bean, rosemary, ginger, nutmeg, dried cranberries.
We will be accepting donations for the Rockford Pregnancy Care Center.
