Want to join a bunch of life-loving, fun, joyous folks on a Sunday in mid-January?
Then come to the March for Life in downtown Chicago on Jan. 18 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.!
We had fun last year, as 2,000 of us gathered at Federal Plaza to get charged up by inspirational speeches before marching to the State of Illinois Building just a few blocks away. Check out these photos!
This year, new Archbishop Blase Cupich of Chicago will attend, in addition to Congressmen Dan Lipinski, D-Ill., and Peter Roskam, R-Ill., and other pro-life speakers. Former Miss America and GOP congressional candidate Erika Harold will emcee the event.
(And there will be free coffee and hot chocolate!)
If you're going to the March for Life in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 22, this is the perfect event to kick off a pro-life week. And if you can't make it to the national march, then join the fun with us in Chicago!
Check out the Facebook page for the March for Life Chicago for details.
We hope to see you there -- the Catholic Conference of Illinois is a sponsor of the march!
